The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Sacramento Kings 114-110 in a preseason game Thursday night at Crypto.com Arena, according to the Los Angeles Times. Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves led the way in the backcourt.
The two guards connected on the game's first play. Reaves found Doncic cutting to the basket, and Doncic scored while being fouled, the Times reported.
Doncic finished with 23 points on 6-of-16 shooting. Reaves scored eight points on 2-of-7 shooting and added eight assists and five rebounds. Both players logged 25 minutes.
In its coverage, the Los Angeles Times described the pair as one of the NBA's most dynamic offensive backcourts, while noting that the game was only an exhibition.
