Bronny James is heading into his third season with the Los Angeles Lakers. According to the Los Angeles Times, it will also be his first season with the franchise without his father, LeBron, on the team.
The Times noted that his three seasons tie him with Dalton Knecht for tenure with the club. Just ahead of them are Jarred Vanderbilt, whom the paper described as going on four-plus seasons, and a player listed as entering his sixth season.
In the Times' view, James is a veteran now. The guard is still looking to establish his role with the Lakers.
The newspaper framed its story around James continuing to refine both his skills and his place with the team.
