The Los Angeles Rams came from behind to beat the Eagles 24-20 on Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, according to a game recap from TheRams.com. The win moved the Rams to 2-2. The Eagles also sit at 2-2.
Los Angeles trailed 20-17 with 3:59 left in the fourth quarter after a four-yard touchdown run. On the kickoff that followed, an out-of-bounds penalty put the ball at the Eagles' own 40-yard line.
The Rams defense held anyway. It forced Philadelphia to punt and gave the ball back to quarterback Stafford.
Stafford then led the Rams down the field on the go-ahead drive. Williams finished it with a seven-yard touchdown run, giving Los Angeles a 24-20 lead with 1:10 to play.
The Eagles got one more chance, but two sacks by a Rams outside linebacker on the final drive ended it, TheRams.com reported.
Williams ran 16 times for 80 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught 10 passes for 66 yards.
