The Los Angeles Rams came from behind to beat the Eagles 24-20 in Philadelphia on Sunday. According to TheRams.com, Los Angeles scored two touchdowns in the last eight minutes to take the win.
Running back Kyren Williams scored both fourth-quarter touchdowns. His second score came with 1:17 left and was the last scoring play of the game. Williams finished with 80 rushing yards and 67 receiving yards.
The Rams defense kept the game within reach. Philadelphia went 0-for-12 on third down and 1-for-4 on fourth down. TheRams.com reported that stops at the Rams' 2-yard line set up a 98-yard touchdown drive late in the fourth quarter. A three-and-out then gave the offense one more possession, and Williams used it to score the final points.
After the game, head coach Sean McVay pointed to his defense. "I can't say enough about our defense keeping us in that football game, getting stop after stop," McVay said. He also said there are "so many things that we can clean up."
Quarterback Matthew Stafford said the offense hurt itself all afternoon, pointing to a bad throw, a missed catch and a penalty that pushed the Rams backward. He said the group stayed steady anyway. "But we just kept the belief, and our defense kept us in it," Stafford said, adding that he was "proud of the resilience of our group."
