The Los Angeles Rams stay home for Week 6, when the Arizona Cardinals visit SoFi Stadium. According to a First Look preview on TheRams.com, kickoff is scheduled for Sunday at 1:05 p.m. Pacific in Inglewood, Calif., and the game will air on FOX.
The preview points to a familiar face on the visiting sideline. Mike LaFleur, a former Rams offensive coordinator, is now Arizona's head coach. TheRams.com says he agreed to a five-year contract with the Cardinals on Feb. 1, after the team moved on from Jonathan Gannon on Jan. 5. The site describes LaFleur as a name Rams fans know from the previous three seasons.
Arizona also has a rookie in its backfield. TheRams.com notes that the Cardinals chose former Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love with the No. 4 overall pick in this year's draft. Love has shared carries with veteran Tyler Allegeier, and the preview says Love stated last week that the coaches are managing his workload.
Even so, Love is still Arizona's leading rusher, according to TheRams.com, with 67 carries for 245 yards and one rushing touchdown this season.
The preview also recaps Arizona's most recent game it covers. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett completed 29 of 47 passes for 292 yards and three touchdowns, with one interception, in a 45-21 home loss to the Detroit Lions. The source does not give the date of that game.
The matchup is presented by Cedars-Sinai, per TheRams.com. SouthLand HubSports is relying on the team's preview for these details.
