Rams host Bills at SoFi Stadium on Monday Night Football

The preview from TheRams.com points to a rare matchup of recent MVP quarterbacks and a high-scoring last meeting between the two teams.

The Los Angeles Rams host the Buffalo Bills at SoFi Stadium on Monday Night Football. A game preview from TheRams.com notes that this is only the second time in the history of the Monday Night Football franchise that the starting quarterbacks will be the two most recent Most Valuable Players.

The two teams last played two years ago, according to TheRams.com. That game produced 86 combined points and 902 total yards. The preview calls it the only game in NFL history in which both teams scored 40 points and neither committed a turnover.

In that game, Bills quarterback Josh Allen threw three touchdown passes and ran for three more. That made him only the second player to do so, joining Hall of Famer Otto Graham, who did it in the 1954 NFL Championship. Even so, Matthew Stafford and the Rams won the game.

This game also starts a new phase of the Rams' 2026 season. According to the publisher, Los Angeles opened with four games, each played in a different time zone.

The schedule settles down from here. TheRams.com reports that three of the Rams' next four games are at home, and the team won't fly any farther than Las Vegas for a month.
