Rams face Josh Allen again as Bills return to SoFi Stadium Monday night

Two years after Allen accounted for six touchdowns in a 44-42 Rams win, the Los Angeles defense has to find a way to contain the Buffalo quarterback.

The Los Angeles Rams face Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen on Monday night, as Allen returns to SoFi Stadium for the first meeting since one of his most productive games in the building.

That game came in Week 14 of the 2024 season. Allen threw three touchdown passes and ran for three more, but the Rams still won 44-42. The Los Angeles Times notes that the performance became a highlight of the season in which Allen went on to win the NFL's most valuable player award, even though Buffalo lost.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Allen's size, his mobility and his knack for keeping plays alive make him a tough matchup for the Rams defense. Los Angeles needs to get pressure on him without leaving room for him to take off running or throw deep.

The Bills come into the matchup after a loss to the New England Patriots on Oct. 4, according to the Times.
