Rams' Aaron Donald says he plans to play vs. Bills after back injury

The Los Angeles Times reported that the Rams defensive tackle, who did not travel to Philadelphia, said he feels good and expects to face Buffalo at SoFi Stadium.

Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald said he expects to return from a back injury and play against the Buffalo Bills, according to a Los Angeles Times report dated Oct. 9.

Donald did not travel with the team to Philadelphia because of the back injury, the Times reported. Speaking on Friday, he said he feels great and intends to play when the Rams host the Bills on Monday night at SoFi Stadium.

After practice, Donald told reporters he does not think his conditioning has slipped and does not expect to be worn out on the field. He credited the Rams' defensive line rotation with helping him.

Donald also said he wants to be more productive and that the next step is getting back on the field to do it.

The Times described Donald as a future Hall of Fame defensive lineman. The newspaper also noted that he was on the sideline at SoFi Stadium during the Rams' Sept. 21 win over the New York Giants.
