NFL suspends two officials for unprofessional conduct toward players

Line judge Jeff Seeman got two games and referee Adrian Hill got one after separate incidents with players during Sunday's games, the league said Monday.

The NFL has suspended two game officials for how they acted toward players during Sunday's games. Line judge Jeff Seeman received a two-game suspension, and referee Adrian Hill received a one-game suspension, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Seeman's incident happened in the Arizona-New York Giants game. The Times reported that he was caught on camera appearing to curse at Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride.

Hill's suspension came from the Miami-Minnesota game. The Times said it followed an incident involving Minnesota Vikings linebacker Eric Wilson. The source does not describe exactly what happened in that exchange.

In a statement Monday, the league said each official was disciplined for one instance of unprofessional conduct toward a player. It said NFL Vice President of Officiating Ramon George issued the suspensions.
