Anaheim's roster has 16 forwards, seven defensemen and two goaltenders ahead of its Oct. 2 opener at Vegas, while Troy Terry starts on Injured Non-Roster.

The Anaheim Ducks have set their season-opening roster for 2026-27, according to NHL.com. The group has 16 forwards, seven defensemen and two goaltenders.

According to NHL.com, the roster includes 12 Ducks draft picks, eight free agent signings and five players acquired by trade. It also has 19 players who played for Anaheim last season, either in the regular season or in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Anaheim has one of its own first-round picks from each of the last five drafts: Nikita Klepov (15th overall, 2026), Roger McQueen (10th overall, 2025), Beckett Sennecke (third overall, 2024), Leo Carlsson (second overall, 2023) and Pavel Mintyukov (10th overall, 2022). Three other first-round picks from other teams also made the roster: Cutter Gauthier (fifth overall by Philadelphia in 2022), Ryan Poehling (25th overall by Montreal in 2017) and Mikael Granlund (ninth overall by Minnesota in 2010).

Seven players are 22 or younger: Klepov (18), McQueen (19), Sennecke (20), Carlsson (21), and Gauthier, Tristan Luneau and Mintyukov (all 22). Offseason free agent signings on the roster include left wings A.J. Greer and Jeff Malott and defenseman Nick Jensen.

Troy Terry, who had hip surgery, was placed on Injured Non-Roster, and defenseman Ian Moore was placed on Injured Reserve. Before the roster was finalized, defenseman Travis Mitchell and goaltender Laurent Brossoit were assigned to the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim's main AHL development affiliate.

The Ducks are scheduled to open the regular season on Friday, Oct. 2, at the Vegas Golden Knights at 7 p.m. PT. Their home opener is set for Sunday, Oct. 4, against the Florida Panthers at Honda Center at 5 p.m. PT. Both games are listed on Prime Video or FOX Los Angeles + (channel 13 KCOP), with audio on Ducks Stream.
