Ducks Fall 5-2 to Oilers Despite Two Goals From Sennecke

Anaheim led 2-0 after one period at Honda Center on Wednesday, but Edmonton scored all five of its goals in the second.

The Anaheim Ducks lost 5-2 to the Edmonton Oilers at Honda Center on Wednesday, according to NHL.com's game recap. All five Edmonton goals came in the second period.

Sennecke gave Anaheim a two-goal lead in the first period. At 4:11, he pushed the puck through Levi's pads from close range. At 15:28, he scored five-hole again, redirecting a centering pass from Carlsson that came from below the goal line.

Edmonton answered right away. Bouchard's slap shot from the right point, 11 seconds into the second period, cut the lead to 2-1. NHL.com reports that Bouchard scored twice, McDavid had three points and Draisaitl had four assists.

The Oilers came back from the 2-0 deficit, won their third game in a row and improved to 3-0-1. The game opened Edmonton's three-game trip through California.

The loss leaves Anaheim at 2-1-0. The Ducks came into the game after a 3-2 overtime win against the visiting Florida Panthers on Sunday, when all of their goals came on the power play.
