Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh said at his Monday press conference that he is "hellbent on turning it around" after the team's 0-5 start. Chargers.com reported his comments.
This is the Bolts' worst start since 2003. According to Chargers.com, Harbaugh said he and others are keeping their attention on the job in front of them, with a dozen games left on the schedule.
Harbaugh described dealing with both winning and losing as a basic part of life. "I think one of the things we were all put on this Earth, one of the things we were all put on this Earth to do, was to handle both success and loss," he said, adding that it should be done "with the same passion and enthusiasm and to show that you belong."
He also said the team still believes it can win. "That it can be turned around and there is winning football. That's what we're doing as a team," Harbaugh said.
Chargers.com reported that Harbaugh's message went to both the players and the front office: getting out of the current hole will take everyone.
