Chargers Look for First Win and a Working Offense Against Denver

A Los Angeles Times preview from Oct. 10 says the Chargers' offense hasn't shown up through the first month of the season. Next up is a Broncos defense that held San Francisco in check early last week.

The Los Angeles Chargers are still looking for their first win of the season, according to a Los Angeles Times preview dated Oct. 10. The Times says that getting that win will mean finding an offense that has largely gone missing during the first month of the NFL season.

The preview lists the next opponent as the Denver Broncos, with the game set for Sunday at SoFi Stadium. The Times expects that matchup to be a tough one for the Chargers offense.

Denver's defense comes in after a strong start last week. According to the Times, the Broncos held San Francisco to three points over that game's first seven drives.

That control didn't last the whole game. The Times reports that the game changed in the second half, partly because of injuries to Denver cornerbacks Patrick Surtain II and Riley Moss.
